June 2, 2009
So one of the things I’m very proud of is that I am a Longhorn here at the University of Texas. So when I came across this news article I had to post it…great news on the war on cancer.

Amazing news! My mother is battling skin cancer, luckily it’s some mild variant. Still every few years it comes back and she needs to undergo taxing and expensive treatment.
Hopefully last time she did was the last

Yes hopefully the last time was the last. Like so many others, I had family members who have lost their battle with cancer. So one of my goals here is to instill a sense of urgency and awareness in younger generations to act before it takes a devastating experience like mine to make them very aware of this illness.

Here’s another site I came across that I thought everyone should take a gander at. With so much dependence on cellular phones these days, we should at least be knowledgeable of the following findings…

I will follow this up later on in the week with articles about non conventional treatments that some folks have told me about…
Stay Posted!

Morning Everyone!
Non profit organizations are always looking for ways to save and still get effective results. The following link I’ve posted demonstrates how you can make a teleprompter from materials you can buy at a local home & garden vendor. Teleprompters can cost up to $800 while we spent only around $75 for this one…watch!!

you can also find more specs for the teleprompter at this site!…

Have a nice day!

I saw it on digg before but I think it’s great. I mean sure it won’t be available to general public for a long time but it’s still a huge step in the fight with cancer.
