Twelve Texas Nonprofits Launch “We Are One”

Central Texas nonprofits are banding together to increase support, involvement and change in the community. Hannah Nokes, Vice President of Development and Marketing at Leadership Austin, sums the effort when quoted, “We believe that by acting as one collective voice, our organizations and the people who support us can more effectively address the important and growing needs throughout our community, [...]”

The nonprofits working together include: American Cancer Society, Austin Children’s Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Capital Area Food Bank, Greenlights for Nonprofit Success,  Lance Armstrong Foundation,  Leadership Austin, LifeWorks, SafePlace,  Seton Family of Hospitals,  Southwest Key Programs,  and United Way Capital Area.
